Actually it's a little embarrassing to admit I don't have any Bela Fleck albums. I've known about his stuff for years, just never got around to buying any. I vow to rectify that. Thank God for iTunes.

Bela is my idol.... I have followed him and have copied his banjo stlye for many years.

Did you know he is a graduate of Juliard? With a major in Banjo?

See if you can find some NewGrass Revival from the early to mid 80's. Some of the best instrumentation there ever was......

I didn't know that about Julliard! Funny story: my housemate played his saxophone in a practice room at CIM, and the janitor tried to kick him out. (There are (were?) no saxophonists at CIM, LOL. Only orchestral instruments.) Their classical guitar program rocks, though.
