The Wrong Hostage - Elizabeth Lowell
The Mephisto Club - Tess Gerritsen
are two great books worth reading.

The Mephisto Club is on my TBR pile (along with about 30 other books).

Also, I read:

A Gentleman's Game and Private Wars, both by Greg Rucka (and two books that really rang my bell this year)

Sigh. And somehow managed to miss Crystal Rain by Tobias Buckell and Widows by Ed McBain.

Mark,

There seems to be one glaring omission on your list. :-)

I'm hoping 'Katz' sneaks its way into your TBR pile.

I gotta get rid of this day job... really cuts into my reading time. I'm envious of your list!

Yeah, Joe, I haven't gotten to "The Last Secret"--it, too, is on my TBR--and Greg, I'm reading "Katz" right now, but slowly. This has been an odd week and I keep getting derailed.
